  1. Hi Cristy ~ Very wise advice, I'm still out buying what I can always adding to my herb gardens. Your blog is lovely... I will say I thought I was getting some bargains until I saw your prices they are so much cheaper than ours!

  2. Dear Cristy, thanks for reminding me to be on the lookout for pink coneflowers going on sale. They do better than ANY flower in my yard for drought and heat tolerance AND their flowers bloom for months. Here is a post I did in July where I mentioned wanting more

  4. Hi Christy ~ The pictures on my blog are of Lake Huron. I didn't know you lived in Ontario at one point! I've never been to where you lived but Ontario has so many pretty spots to visit.

  6. It's also a great time to ask friends and neighbors whose gardens you love if they would like to split some of their perennials that are getting out of control. If they live nearby, the plants should have no trouble adjusting to your yard and you will always think of the person who gave it to you when you see it come up!

  7. Hi Cristy,
I haven't been to the stores - it has been so, so very hot here - Might be tempted if there's plants I've been hoping for - love your diamond in the rough reference!
